Psalm 121

 1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
   where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
   the Maker of heaven and earth.

 3 He will not let your foot slip—
   he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
   will neither slumber nor sleep.

 5 The LORD watches over you—
   the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
   nor the moon by night.

 7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
   he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
   both now and forevermore.

This Psalm should be a huge confidence boost. If you are doing what God has called you to do, for the reasons that He wants you to do them, God has your back. He won’t let your foot slip. He watches over you. He is your shade at your right hand. He will keep you from all harm. He will watch over your life. He’s got your back. Another word of encouragement comes from Romans chapter 8:

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Once again, for those who love God, He’s got your back. All things will work for your good. All throughout scripture we see that God will and is constantly fighting for those who love Him and those that are doing what He has called them to do. So don’t worry what you’re up against, know that God’s got your back.
