Prayer

Psalm 66:19-  “but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer

Psalm 66:20- “Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!”

Psalm 102:17- “He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not dispise their plea.”

Proverbs 15:8- “The LORD detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases him.”

Matthew 21:22- “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Mark 11:24- “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Acts 28:8- “His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and, after prayer, placed his hands on him and healed him.”

Romans 12:12- “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

1 Corinthians 7:5- “Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer.”

Philippians 4:6- “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Jesus tells us to ask and it will be given to us. How often do we not go to Him with our needs? He wants to hear you, He wants to bless you, and He wants to partner with you. So let Him know. He hears us and He is faithful. There is power in prayer.

Prayer=Victory

“Where, O death, is your victory?
      Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” -1 Corinthians 15:55-57
