So we had a test in english class last Wednesday that was pretty much about 8749372436 essays. I know I’m writing right now but writing essays in english class isn’t exactly my idea of fun. As much as I was dreading writing all those essays, there was one that stood out to me. The question asked for you to write about a word that is often overlooked or underestimated. After I read the question I was thinking how in the world I was going to write an entire essay about one word. And then it came to me.

As much as people throw around the word faith, I think a lot of times we tend to underestimate the power that this word has. I believe that putting your faith in Christ is more than just thinking or hoping something will happen. I believe that true faith in Christ is expecting, and knowing something is going to happen. Hebrews 11:6 says that it’s impossible to please God without faith. Expect God to respond, don’t think your just taking your chances with Him. Matther 7:7 says “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Jesus couldn’t have made it any more clear.
