What Really Matters

Last night the Detroit Pistons were playing LeBron and the Cavs in Cleveland. Mid-way through the 3rd quarter the Piston’s point guard, Rodney Stuckey collapsed on the bench and was said to be unconscious. At that time, the medical staff rushed over and took him off on a stretcher. At the time, it was obviously a scary moment for all of the players, and anyone watching.

After the game was over, both teams came together at mid-court and had a prayer for their brother. In an interview after the game, LeBron said that when things like this happen, there are not two different teams on the court, there is one family. When it all comes down to it, it’s not about wins and losses, what clothes you wear, or anything else. It’s about having a real, intimate relationship with a God that you can depend on.
